A fire yesterday damaged a home in Anchorage and left five people homeless. No one was injured, but the home was badly damaged. Anchorage Fire Department Captain Clinton Powell says by the time firefighters arrived at the home in the Hillside neighborhood, it was engulfed in flames.

The study was released by New York Life Insurance Company, the largest mutual life insurance company in the U.S. Nursing home costs average out to 388 dollars a day in Alaska.
