Cleveland Volcano may have emitted ash over the weekend, but it wasn't a major eruption.
The Alaska Volcano Observatory today reduced the threat level for the Cleveland Volcano in the Aleutian Islands.
The Alaska Volcano Observatory says a volcano in the Aleutian Islands has erupted. According to the AVO, Mount Cleveland Volcano started spewing ash at about 3:45 p.m. on Saturday and ended shortly after.
