Residents in the Southcentral Alaska towns of Seward, Cordova, Valdez and others are still trying to deal with the aftermath of flooding that washed out roads in many areas. They have to move quickly because winter is fast approaching.
The waters continue to recede in Seward and reconstruction is underway. Residents of the Old Mill subdivision have road access once again, and the bridge to Lowell Point is in the repair process.
